List of Curly and Wavy Hair Products in India!! (Indian Brands Edit)

A list of all curly and wavy hair products in India at one place was something that I had always focused upon during the Phase 1 of my blogging. Back then, there were no Indian brands catering to curly and wavy hair so I had to put together all possible products that I could find online or in stores based on the ingredients list.

There were no brands claiming or even focusing on the ‘Curly Girl’ community. No brands that focused on creating sulfate and silicone free products. It was very frustrating and that is where me and other curly hair bloggers put our efforts to get a list of products together for the curly-wavy community of India to refer, buy and use to embrace their gorgeous locks.

Now, after recently losing the Curlacious blog back-up from 2014-2020, its only fitting that I put together another list of curly and wavy hair products available in India. And it makes me so so soooooooo happy to start with a WHOLE list of INDIAN home grown brands!! How far have we come as a curly and wavy hair community in India is just amazing!! 🙂

Arata

Arata is our Indian home grown brand that I absolutely love!! Started by two guys aiming at delivering clean hair and skin care products to friends and family, ended up in this start up that gave us this fabulous start up of amazing hair and skin products. Arata was not specifically curated for curly or wavy hair, but it totally fits our needs. Now with their repackaging and widened vision, they have started aiming at curly hair as well!

Flawsome is one brand that fascinates me. They have limited but amazing products. My fascination is more due to their body-positive branding. Their Insta handle displays amazing body positive pics.
